New Executive Director Announced at Annual Convention & Trade Show

Texas Lathing and Plastering Contractors Association President, Rick Williams, introduced their new Executive Director, Eddie McCormick, at this year's 57th Annual Convention and Trade Show to a standing ovation crowd.
“I am excited about this opportunity and the new direction this Association will be heading. It was a tough decision leaving a company that I had worked at for over 17 years. However, those 17 years has allowed me to gain the necessary knowledge of our industry as well as meet and maintain relationships with General Contractors, Architects, Consultants and Owners. After seeing all of your support, and this warm welcome, I know that I made the right decision.”
Mr. McCormick has been active in the ASTM process at all levels as well as educating General Contractors and Municipalities on the mechanics of EIFS, Stucco, and Stone. He is an AWCI Certified EIFS Professional, with a background in Commercial Construction from the field level to Estimating and Project Management. His experience as a current Planning and Zoning Commissioner will help with getting ordinances changed in municipalities that may have issues with our industries wet claddings.
