Introduction to Portland Cement Plaster/Stucco

This hour-long program on a CD-ROM is an introduction to the product, the basics of stucco, its advantages and information important to Architects and other Design Professionals, Contractors, Builders and others.

The CD-ROM presentation is approximately 60 minutes in length. It may be viewed in one complete setting and you have the flexibility to stop and start the presentation.

The CD is important to architects in that as a Distant Learning Presentation, it will qualify for one Learning Unit in the American Institute of Architects Continuing Education Program. It qualifies for Health, Education and Welfare requirements.

As with any AIA Distant Learning Program, in order for an architect to be credited for the learning unit you, as the active participant, are required to meet three standards:
  • First, you must view this CD-ROM presentation in its entirety.
  • Second, you must successfully complete the testing component that is attached at the end of the presentation.
  • Finally, you must submit the completed test component along with the required AIA documentation to the Texas Bureau for Lathing and Plastering.
The Bureau will grade the exam and certify the completion of the course and the passing of the exam to the AIA-CES.
